At the Center for Applied Theory of Mind, we are dedicated to advancing the understanding and practical application of mentalization and theory of mind concepts.​​ We translate scientific research in the fields of mentalization and theory of mind into actionable insights and tools that empower individuals, teams and organizations to negotiate social situations effectively.
We cultivate mentalization skills through a variety of methods, including online assessments, training and coaching, in-person programs, specialized workshops and comprehensive publications. Additionally, we guide professionals and organizations with the integration of these insights and techniques into their work procedures to enhance performance.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

CAToM
Anique van der Putten, the founder of the Center for Applied Theory of Mind, works one-on-one with clients as a coaching psychologist applying psychological principles and evidence-based methods to help individuals enhance their performance, well-being and overall effectiveness.
When it comes to organizational development projects she partners with a trusted network of consultants and facilitators to deliver broader organizational development services.
At times she team up with personnel within the client organization, for instance HR employees, when assistance is available internally. This has great advantages such as an increased level of ownership and acceptance of change, faster and better contextual insight, a shared learning experience and it is financially more attractive.

With a background in Business Administration and Organizational Psychology, and hands-on experience across the Netherlands, Kenya, India and Portugal, the founder brings both global and local insight to the organization.
